ATTCOMM’s principal consultant, Bob Attwood, has 40 years experience in Commercial Management.

Bob started his career in 1972 and has worked in the following industry sectors

· UK Defence,

· US Defence,

· Public Sector

· Oil & Gas,

· Public Transport,

· Communications (with the emergency services,)

· Vehicle Tracking and Fleet Management,

· Industry Distribution and Transport,

· Energy and Utilities sector,

· Telecoms Systems Integration,

· Telecom Products, and

· Financial Services.

As well as managing commercially several successful Businesses, several major multi-national military avionic programmes and a global products business, Bob also has a wealth of experience in managing major claims/disputes and bringing them to a successful conclusion, also major Sub-contract management and source selection.

Other notable achievements include:

· taking the commercial lead in a number of major and minor M & A activities,

· setting up and managing a GSM Service provision operation (which included preparing the full business case and negotiating with the Network),

· taking the commercial lead on several major opportunities in putting together and negotiating innovative commercial deals targeted at incentivising both parties to make the programme a commercial success,

· identifying and managing risk effectively, both technical and commercial,

· Introducing effective and efficient business process in start up and blue-chip companies,

· Preparing and running training courses to inform and educate in risk management and good commercial practice, and

· managing expectations.
